October 2021 edition of Hub in Focus

The Construction Innovation Hub is delighted to share with you the October edition of Hub in Focus, a round-up of all our latest news and insights from across the industry.

Included in this month’s edition of our newsletter is information on how the Construction Innovation Hub’s focus on innovation is central to the delivery of the Transforming Infrastructure Performance Roadmap to 2030, against a backdrop of an ever-increasing digitalised and technologically advanced built environment.

We also share insight into our Energy and Carbon Reporting Framework which defines when operational energy and emissions need to be analysed and reported at key gateways. The reporting points have been mapped against the gateways of most common project frameworks used in construction and infrastructure projects where powered systems are used, including the 2020 RIBA Plan of Work, the UK BIM Framework (formalised in BS 8536 Parts 1 and 2), and BSRIA BG6:2018 A design framework for building services.
