Welcoming today’s launch of the Project / Programme Outcome Profile tool, Keith Waller, Construction Innovation Hub programme director, said:
As we move forward with the work of building back better, it is vital that all government projects and programmes consider from the outset how they will drive better outcomes for society and the environment. There should be a clear ‘golden thread’ from government priorities to the development of business cases into delivery and operation and today’s launch is another important step towards delivering better outcomes.
As a suite of activities, tools, and guidance to support outcome-led decision making at every stage of the investment lifecycle, the Value Toolkit can be used alongside or instead of the POP tool.
The Construction Innovation Hub will work with the IPA over the next six months to further align the POP and the Value Toolkit.”
